You want to start your day the right way. You need a delicious and nutrient-dense drink that hydrates your cells, protects your body, and boosts your health. Is Green juice the best drink you can have?
Yes, green juice is one of the most nutrient-dense, cleansing, and health-promoting drinks you can drink in the morning – or at any time of the day -, however, there are many other options to start your day the right way. I bet I got your attention.
What can be just as amazing as green juice? And why morning hydration is so important anyways?
Just think about it. You sleep through the night, not drinking anything for 7 to 8 hours. Your body is dehydrated. It’s time to drink up. However, it’s not enough to drink something – you need to drink the right thing. Something that hydrating and nourishing! Let’s look at your options.
1. Lemon Water

Starting with a big glass of water is one of the smartest things to do. Is there anything better than that? Yes! You can add some immune-boosting and metabolism-supporting goodness. Opt. for a big glass of lemon water instead of plain old water. Add two tablespoons or more of lemon juice to 16 oz of water for immune-enhancing benefits and a boost of vitamin C. Warm lemon water may also boost your metabolism, support your digestion, and detoxify your cells. For extra inflammation-fighting support, add a slice of ginger.
2. ACV Water
Drinking apple cider vinegar (ACV) may sound off add first, but trust me, it’s actually good for you. ACV water may help to aid your weight loss goals. It may also help to lower your blood sugar and prevent acid reflux making it a great option before meals as well. It may also help to kill pathogens and decrease the risk of infections and illnesses. If you want to be adventurous, you may make lemon-ACV water by adding both 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice and ACV to a glass of water.
3. Vitamin-Infused Water
If you want to mix it up and add extra vitamins, minerals, or antioxidants to your morning, try vitamin-infused water. There are a variety of options you may try. You may add a few slices of cucumber or fruits, such as berries or oranges, or herbs, such as basil or mint to your water. This is a great option for hydrating your cells throughout the day.
4. Aloe Vera Water
Aloe vera is a fantastic plant with wide-ranging benefits from detoxification and alkalization. It’s full of antioxidants and polyphenols and may boost your immune system as a result. Aloe vera is also great for your metabolism, digestion, and may help to relieve constipation. Just add a small slice of aloe vera to your morning water for full benefits.

Coconut water may be one of the most refreshing and hydrating options. Coconut water is incredibly high in antioxidants and minerals. Coconut water is fantastic in the morning. It is also the perfect drink for replenishing your electrolytes after a workout, when you are sick, and on a hot day.
6. Ginger Turmeric Shot
Turmeric and ginger are both wonderful anti-inflammatory spices that reduce pain, help digestion, and improve your overall health. Just ¼ cup of fresh turmeric, ¼ cup of fresh ginger, and 3 lemons, then add a pinch of black pepper for two shots of ginger-turmeric drink. If you prefer, add a half of an orange as well.
7. Ginger Shot

If you prefer ginger over turmeric, you are in luck. You can juice a ¼ cup of fresh ginger and 2 lemons, or ¼ cup of fresh ginger with ½ green apple for an inflammation-fighting and gut protecting ginger shot. If you prefer, add a half of an orange as well.
8. Turmeric Shot
If you are a turmeric lover, you may opt for a turmeric shot. ou can juice a ¼ cup of fresh turmeric and 2 lemons, or ¼ cup of fresh turmeric with ½ green apple and add a pinch of black pepper for a healthy morning shot.

With all this anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal goodness, fire cider claims to help to prevent and improve colds and flus, sinus congestion, digestion issues, blood sugar problems, and cravings. Just take one shot in the morning to experience its benefits. You can find fire cider at a farmer’s market, health food stores, and online. You can also make your own using this recipe.

Speaking of shots, wheatgrass shot is one of the most popular detoxifying morning drinks out there. It is part of most green juice cleanse regimens. It’s high in nutrients, chlorophyll, antioxidants and a great detoxifying. It may help your digestion, inflammation, and blood sugar levels. Taking a wheatgrass shot is a smart idea before your morning green juice.
11. Green Tea
Starting your day with a big glass of water or water with a nutrient-boost, such as lemon, ACV, vitamin, aloe vera, or coconut water is incredibly important to hydrate your cells right away. After your first morning water, you are ready for more nutrients that give you more energy and further benefits. Green tea is a fantastic option. It is full of antioxidants, may boost your metabolism, and help you burn fat.
12. Bulletproof Coffee
Bulletproof coffee has been increasingly popular the recent years for metabolism-boosting benefits. To make bulletproof coffee, add MCT oil or MCT-rich coconut oil for a delicious morning kickstarter. Drinking a cup of bulletproof coffee may help to boost your metabolism. Both the coffee and MCTs in bulletproof coffee
13. Green Juice

Green juice is my ultimate favorite way to start the day. Green juices are a powerful blend of greens, veggies, and often herbs and low-GI fruits. Green juice absorbs quickly, filled with nutrients, cleansing, and incredibly energizing. You can vary your ingredients to keep it interesting. For greens, you may choose kale, spinach, collard greens, bok choy, or lettuce. For veggies, add some cucumber, celery, or broccoli. For fruit, lemon, lime, and green apples are your best choices. For herbs, add some turmeric, ginger, parsley, mint, or cilantro. If you don’t have time to make fresh green juice, why not try Organifi Green Juice powder? Just mix it with water and you have a delicious green juice with lots of superfood power from turmeric, ginger, wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella, and more within seconds.
14. Celery Juice
Besides green juice, you can try other vegetables juices in the morning. Celery juice is one of the hottest trends in the holistic health field. It is a fantastic juice to drink it in the morning 15 to 30 minutes after waking up after your morning water. Its benefits include helping to flush your liver, remove toxins, reduce infections, and prevent acid reflux.
15. Beet Juice
If you are looking for a sweet drink in the morning that helps your liver and kidney health, beet juice is the right choice with fantastic detox benefits. It’s a green juice or vegetable juice that’s not green. You may juice beets with carrots, green apples, a bit of lemon, and ginger for a delicious, cleansing, and energizing drink.
16. Orange Juice
I am not suggesting buying orange juice from the store. Those are often filled with added sugar and other additives and are usually made from concentrate. Homemade orange juice, however, can be an energizing drink with a boost of vitamin C for the flu season. Leave the pulp in for extra fiber and digestion support.
17. Green Smoothie
Just like green juices, green smoothies are filled with nutrients from greens, veggies, and herb. Like green juices, green smoothies are also hydrating, however, they are more substantial and may even work as a meal replacement for breakfast. They are full of fiber and fantastic for your digestion. You may want to add a scoop of Organifi Green Juice for extra superfood power.
18. Protein Shakes

Protein shakes don’t replace your morning water or green juice, however, if you are looking for a hydrating, yet protein-filled breakfast idea, protein shakes may be a fantastic option for you. They work great after your morning workout or as liquid breakfast on-the-go.
19. Kefir
If you are looking for a boost of energy and digestion, kefir may be right for you. Kefir is cultured milk made with cow’s milk or plant milk, such as coconut or almond milk. It is packed with probiotics, rich in protein, and is fantastic for your digestion and immunity. While it doesn’t replace your water or green juice, it is hydrating and nourishing. It’s truly a perfect choice for breakfast. You may drink it in the morning or mix it in with your morning granola or add it to your smoothies or shakes.
20. Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate may be a perfect choice in the winter. Of course, I don’t mean those sugary hot chocolate packets from the grocery store, and definitely not those sugar- and calorie-packed hot chocolate drinks from your favorite coffee chain. However, you can make your own hot chocolate by mixing raw cacao powder with coconut milk or your favorite plant milk. To spice it up, you may add a bit of cinnamon, vanilla, or even a drop of honey. Raw cacao is incredibly high in antioxidants and serves as a morning energy-boost. You may also try Organifi Gold Chocolate for bonus superfood goodness.
