You’re Going To Go NUTS Over This Healthy Chocolate FUDGE Recipe

“Sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don’t.”

While that may be true about NUTS, you always, always, always feel like chocolate!

Here is a healthy fudge recipe that you can readily enjoy because it is FULL of antioxidants, protein and vitamins and is anti-inflammatory.

Health Benefits Of Anti-inflammatory Protein FUDGE

Raw Cacao
  • Made from the cacao tree and is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet
  • Loaded with minerals
  • Improves blood flow and can lower blood pressure
  • Raises HDL and protects LDL against oxidation
Chia Seeds
  • Rich in fiber
  • Great source of omega-3 fats and protein
  • Packed with vitamins and minerals
  • Contains essential fatty acids:
    • Alpha-linolenic and linoleic acid
    • Mucin
    • Strontium
  • Excellent source of antioxidants
  • Very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients, including 20 vitamins and minerals
  • Rich source of antioxidants: vitamin C and E boost the antioxidant properties of your body
Medjool Dates
  • Rich in potassium, a mineral essential to a range of basic physiological processes

How To Make Anti-inflammatory Protein FUDGE


  • ½ cup raw cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 avocado, ripe, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted and soaked
  • 1 cup soaked cashews
  • 1 cup chopped raw almonds
  • 1 tbsp virgin coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla bean powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder 

For sweeter fudge add:

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup 


1. In a blender, process the avocado and dates until creamy.

      • Add soaked cashews and coconut oil. Blend. 

2. Add the cacao, chia seeds, vanilla, turmeric and additional sweetener (optional). Blend.

3. Transfer the dough into a bowl and fold in the almonds.

4. Line a glass with parchment paper (or use silicone molds) and press the dough into the dish.

      • Pack firmly. 

5. Place the fudge in the freezer for 5 or more hours until it is set.

6. Once set, remove from baking dish (or mold) and cut into pieces.

    • Dust with turmeric to serve. 

Storage: Keep in a glass jar or container with a lid in the refrigerator.

Switch up the ingredients of this recipe to create your own one-of-a-kind fudge, such as:

  • Chopped dried fruit
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Sprinkle of sea salt
  • Your favorite vegan protein powder (for added protein!)
