You Ready For This Superpower Lemonade?

Summer is here… Just kidding. It’s not. It’s only May. But hey, that means that summer is almost here and you can start prepping for it by trying this delicious lemonade.
Besides, hydration is important. You should be drinking 8 – 10 8-oz glasses of water a day, more if you are physically active, going to the sauna, or if it’s hot and humid outside.
Drinking plenty of water:
- Increases your energy.
- Decreases your level of fatigue.
- Flushes out your toxins.
- Aids your digestion and promotes regularity.
- Promotes weight loss.
- Supports your immune system.
- Balances your body fluids.
- Aids your kidney function.
- Creates a glowing skin.
But drinking plain water can be boring to you.
Making vitamin waters and lemonades by adding some fruits, veggies, herbs and spices to your water can not only make your taste buds do a happy dance, but also add extra vitamins, minerals and remedying benefits.
In this creative lemonade, the lime and lemon can help alkalize your body, aid your digestion and add extra vitamin C for immune support. The ginger can give you superpowers through its anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties, promoting the recovery of practically any inflammation and ailment. Mint is excellent for your digestion, skin, respiratory system and brain health. Basil is alkalizing and anti-bacterial and beneficial for your immune system, digestion, bone health and heart.

- 16 oz of water
- Ice (optional)
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 knob of ginger, peeled and sliced
- Few leaves of mint
- 2 - 3 basil leaves
