You Need This Plant, Especially If You Hate Spiders

Spiders are just creepy – okay?
There isn’t much more to say about them. Those legs alone… EESH!
While I don’t have a super big fear of the creepy crawlies, I have witnessed a grown woman lose her marbles over the sight of a little tiny spider. Okay, okay, okay, I don’t necessarily want them cohabitating with me either.
Spiders do have their place in this world (whether you want to accept that or not) – they are actually quite useful for:
- Keeping the environment free of pesky insects
- Preventing insects from becoming overly dominant and destructive
- Are a food source for other animals (birds, reptiles and small mammals)
However, their place in the world doesn’t HAVE to be your house… especially your bedroom. The verdict is still out whether you swallow spiders in your sleep or not.
But if you don’t want to take your chances – READ ON.
A Natural Solution To Keep Spiders Away
There is no lack of anti-bug powders and sprays that you can buy at your local store.
However, when these chemicals are inhaled or come into contact with you or your family, they can become harmful to your health (especially your breathing).
Therefore, if you want to keep spiders OUT of your home, simple use…
Spiders dislike the smell of peppermint – hallelujah!
Here is how to keep spidey out of your personal space:
1. Place fresh peppermint plants in your home.
2. Make “pepper-minty spray”:
- Mix peppermint essential oil with water.
- Place in a spray bottle.
- Spray your windows, doors and sneaky spider-hiding corners of your house with the water/peppermint spray.
P.S. This spray will also help keep mice away.
