Do you want to live a happy and healthy life filled with love?

I bet you do – we all do. Affirmations are a great tool to make your dreams a reality. Affirmations may help you in creating happiness, healing, achieving your goals, living your dreams and living a life full of love.

According to its basic definition, an affirmation is a declaration of something that is true.

In the world of healing, self-development and spirituality, affirmations refer to positive statements that describe a desired situation. If you repeat these positive statements, your subconscious mind will recognize them as truth, therefore, making the statements become your reality.

Just think about it – how often do you say and think negative things during your day? “How stupid I am for forgetting my keys at home.” “It is so cold, I hate winter.” “I don’t feel like working out today, I am just so lazy.” When you say negative things, you simply affirm the negativity. The negativity will reside or even grow because you affirm it. By repeating these negative statements, your mind starts believing them.

On the other hand, if you repeat positive statements instead, your mind will begin to believe in them. As you affirm positive statements, these positive statements will become true and positivity will ripple throughout your life.

Every situation is based on your perception. Whatever you perceive and think becomes true for you. If you think positively, you will perceive the world – internal and external – positively as well.

Affirmations are a great tool to improve your life, inspire you to achieve your dreams and live the life you’ve always wanted.

You can use several affirmations during a day or pick just one. You can pick one affirmation that you use daily for a longer period of time or you can pick a new one every day. Just make sure you repeat it often, especially during negative situations or negative moments in your life.

Repeat your affirmations out loud. Repeat them quietly in your mind. Repeat them in front of the mirror while making eye contact with yourself. Write them down in your journal. Write them on post-its and stick them on your fridge or desk. Use them as your passwords.

When you repeat an affirmation – verbally, in your mind or in writing – make sure to take a deep breath and feel the affirmation for a moment. Make it true just for a second in your brain. The more you do this, the more you begin to believe it… the same goes for negative thoughts so be careful where you let your mind wander to.

My favorite “go-to” affirmation is: “I love and accept myself. I see myself in the light of love. I am safe. I am happy and healthy” (Yes, you can pick several affirmations and group them together like I did!).

Here are ten powerful examples of affirmations for love, self-love and happiness you can use and combine however you would like:

1. I love and accept myself.

2. I am safe.

3. I am loving and lovable.

4. I trust the process of life.

5. I am in control of my thoughts and emotions.

6. I am healthy, happy and whole.

7. I have an abundance of energy.

8. I have a loving relationship with my boyfriend/girlfriend, friends and family.

9. I lovingly release the past and now I am free.

10. I am living my dream.

Do you use daily affirmations? I’d love to hear how they’ve worked in your life. Comment below and let me know. 🙂

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
