Why Use Conventional Toxic Products On Your Skin When You Could Simply Use THIS?
Written by: Lindsay Sibson
Simplicity is my motto.
After over a year of living out of a small backpack while traveling, the level of simplicity in my life was pushed to its limits, including my beauty routine.
I’m a woman, so of course in the past I’ve been convinced by salespeople that the 5-step skin care routine was going to be “the BEST” thing I’ve ever done for my skin. I’d try it out for a few weeks before the products got pushed deeper and deeper into the drawer of “goops.” Sound familiar?
However, with travel, I barely packed shampoo, let alone a whole entire 5-step routine! It was time to find a multi-purpose product that was natural, effective and travel-friendly.
This is how I discovered the incredible versatility of oils.
After a few days of using homemade face oil, my skin was glowing and felt incredibly smooth!
Can’t you just run to the store and buy something from the shelf?
Yes. Yes you could. However, these store bought products are frequently concocted using chemicals that are toxic for your body.
Your skin absorbs what you put on in. Therefore, what you are slathering on your body had the potential to either help OR harm your health.
By making products at home, you ensure that the ingredients you use are safe and beneficial for your body and overall well-being.
