Why Failure Is KEY To Your Transformation

It is important to understand that your transformation process isn’t just about weight and fat loss; though those are definitely exciting parts, they are not the only factors.
As a health coach, I can tell you that shaping or reshaping your mindset while in your transformation process is very important.
To steal a quote from the bible, “as a man/woman thinketh, so shall he/she be.” This lends to the fact that your thoughts play a key role in your reality and therefore, approaching your own transformation with a supportive and loving perspective is vital. Remember, your thoughts become actions and they are manifested in your overall countenance – they can effect everything!
At Fitlife, we believe that the way you think about failure is significant. We believe that failure is not only a great thing, but is also a necessary human experience. We coined it ‘failing forward.’
What is failing forward?
It means that with each failure – be it a roadblock, pitfall, or challenge – there is always a wonderful opportunity to grow. You need to look at these experiences as an opportunity to adjust, refocus and, most importantly, grow.
Failure is the cornerstone of the Fitlife Transformation process and it allows the magic of our coaching program to occur successfully. It allows a coach like me to be able to better collaborate with my clients to customize their own transformation solutions, which in turn evolve into lifestyle changes.
Failure helps you find the places where the transformation process does not apply and why. At Fitlife, we believe this is where real change occurs. It is important to figure out what doesn’t work, just as it’s important to figure out what does.
This happens because we encourage our clients to ask questions like:
- What happened?
- Why did it happen?
- What can I learn from this?
- How can I improve or prevent this next time?
It is important to understand that reshaping how you experience and perceive failure will inevitably invite more positive thinking into your life. I use failure as a tool to help my clients create strategies and systems that will ultimately help them achieve their goals and most importantly, turn what they learn into daily lifestyle habits.
The Fitlife Transformation is a process and that something to always remember – but also never forget, we’re in this together. Reach out to us with any questions or concerns that you may have in the comments below!
