- 4 cups of water
- Ginger root (1 - 2 inches)
- 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 - 2 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
- Peel and slice your ginger root.
- Boil some water.
- Add the ginger slices and let them boil for 15-20 minutes.
- Take the pot off the stove and cover it with a lid.
- Leave it for 15 minutes, then strain the tea.
