Visualization Techniques To Achieve Radical Results
5 years ago I had $47 dollars to my name. I was a single mom, sleeping on a mattress on the floor. There were moments I literally didn’t believe I would ever be happy again. But I knew I had to be.
Today I am living in a much different reality. I have made it to multi-millionaire status and am doing what I love to do every single day. I am happy and living the life that I always dreamed of living.
A lot of people look at successful men and women and wonder why they haven’t found the same results in their life. They are hard workers and put in the time, but something just isn’t clicking. What’s in the gap?
I believe that there are three things that lead me to the results I’ve achieved in my life:
Visualization has been a huge factor in my success and it will be in yours, too. It may seem like such a small thing, but when harnessed and utilized correctly, visualization can help you manifest the life you’ve always wanted.
Here are some simple techniques to help get you started:
#1. Inject Joy, Passion And Heart Into Your Visualization
Your visualization is simply you seeing your vision so clearly in your mind that you can almost reach out and touch it. Your visualization should be something that lights you up. It should have all the positive, empowering emotions connected to it so that when you are meditating on it, it literally lights a little fire in your soul.
Inject as much joy, passion, heart, love, connection and power into your visualization as possible. Make sure that the future you are looking for is one that makes you deeply happy. Although it may include material things like nice cars, a nice home, financial freedom, etc., these should not be the core reasons of your visualization. At the core should be what truly makes all the hard work and hard days worth it. Your kids, deep fulfilling relationships, a cause you are passionate about fighting for, etc.
#2. Use All Your Senses
When you are in a visualization process, think not only about what everything looks like, but what it smells like, feels like to touch, what it tastes like, etc. Cram as much detail into your visualization as possible so it feels like you can literally step right into it.
What does your home smell like? What do the clothes you’re wearing feel like on your body? What does your body feel like? What can you reach out and touch next to you? What is the weather like? What do you look like when you look in the mirror? Details, details, details.
#3. Be The Star, Not The Audience
When you are doing a visualization, make sure you are seeing everything from your own eyes and not from a third-person perspective. You want to actually be IN your own body during the visualization, not just looking at it from above. For example, don’t see yourself standing on a stage giving a speech, imagine that you ARE on stage giving a speech. You should be able to see the people’s faces watching you talk.
Another example would be envisioning yourself looking into the bathroom mirror. What do you see? Who are you? What light is in your eyes? Walk around your dream home and feel what it’s like to live there. See your children there, if that’s in your vision. Imagine your dream partner. Anything and everything. Or maybe you are traveling! Do you sit in first class? Where are you going? What is it like being there?
Start with 5-10 minutes every single day. When you’re waking up in the morning, sipping your coffee, waiting in line, sitting on a train… constantly be thinking about your vision for your life and what it will look like. What you think about, you attract. So work those neural pathways in your favor!
