Use Spinach To Help You Manage Hunger Throughout The Day

Have you ever gotten to work in the morning, only to feel hungry before the day even begins?
Sometimes, even if you eat breakfast, you will be hungry before lunch time comes around. People who experience this often keep wondering, “what can I eat to stay healthy AND feel full longer?”
Here’s The Secret.
According to a new study from the Journal Appetite, one of the very best foods that you can eat that will help keep your hunger at bay during the day is… spinach!
Researchers for this study had their participants drink a glass of spinach water in the morning or a placebo that didn’t contain the thylakoids from green-plant membranes. Thylakoid is found in spinach and is said to release the hormone GLP-1, which will help slow down digestion (which is what will help you feel full longer!).
The results were amazing. Those who drank the spinach drink before breakfast experienced less hunger and felt more satisfied all day. When they would drink the spinach water, they didn’t feel hungry for at least 60 minutes and were a lot less hungry than normal for another 180 minutes.
Another awesome benefit is that they also craved fewer sweets and other tempting foods.
Spinach Is Great For You, Too!
One cup of spinach only has 27 calories and has great amounts of calcium, iron, protein, magnesium, vitamin A, potassium and folate. It will also help you to lower your blood pressure, which will help protect you against the health issues related to stress.
If you find that you are hungry throughout the day, try kicking off your morning with a spinach smoothie!

When you blend up this awesome little green plant, it will help release the thylakoids. Another great way to add it to your breakfast is to throw it in with your eggs.
