These Little Mushrooms Can Help Keep You Young

What in the world are those?

I had actually never heard the word “cordyceps” until recently. And to my surprise, they are actually highly nutritional mushrooms that are loaded with the ability to help fight against free radicals as well as inflammation and infections. And there’s a lot more that these little mushrooms can do for your body.

Some of the benefits that these little mushrooms have includes increased energy levels, improved immunity and anti-aging effects. Cordyceps can also help with disorders of the liver, kidney and respiratory system.

Increase Your Energy Levels

When you need to fight against fatigue, muscle aches and weakness, cordyceps provide the right dose of adenosine, which is found in ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). Your body needs ATP for sufficient energy when you engage in exercise or strenuous activities. It also increases your performance during exercise and gives you stamina throughout. So, if you’re an athlete, you can boost your performance by taking this natural product.

Cordyceps reduce the effects of aging and help to keep your brain active. This is mainly due to the antioxidants they contain that can help to slow down the aging process. According to Ayurvedic medicine, cordyceps can enhance both your “vigor and vitality.”

Improve Your Metabolism

Cordyceps can also help improve and increase your metabolism. They work by helping your gastrointestinal tract properly carry out its secretion, absorption and reduction processes. Insulin is secreted at a better level, glucose is appropriately absorbed and enzymes that regulate glucose in the liver are strengthened. Cordyceps reduce oxidative stress and enhance the sensitivity of insulin. They also aid energy metabolism, making it easier for the body to get the needed amount of nutrients to keep digestion healthy.

Since it also has a natural ability to fight free radicals and infections, it also helps the liver. And when the liver is in a healthy state, digestion can occur more naturally.

Although these are amazing reasons why you should include cordyceps into your diet, they also provide other benefits such as reducing inflammation and liver damage symptoms, protection from cold and coughs, a tougher immune system and much more.

How To Incorporate Cordyceps

Cordyceps are available in supplements that can be found in most health food stores. You can find these supplements in powders, tablets and capsule forms. However, the dosage you should take depends on the reason why you are using the supplements. The recommended amount to take cordycep supplements is 5 to 10 grams once or twice per day.

These little mushrooms sound like a great supplement that should be added to your diet. Have you ever tried cordyceps?

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
