How To Make Chia-Choco-Avo Truffles
 
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. In a food processor or blender, add the avocado and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  2. Pulse a few seconds to combine.
  3. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and then add to the blender.
  4. Watch THIS VIDEO to learn how to use a double boiler.
  5. Place the avocado/chocolate mixture in the refrigerator to set for 30 minutes.
  6. Once a bit firm, scoop a small amount of the mixture out and roll it into a ball. If desired, form the ball around 1 raw almond.
  7. In a small bowl, pour a bit of raw cacao powder with a sprinkle of sea salt and roll each truffle until coated.
Notes
Storage: Keep these decadent truffles in the refrigerator until ready to be eaten (but make sure you eat them the same day for optimal freshness!).
