The Demand For Pressed Juice Is Skyrocketing – Get On The Wagon Now
Written by: Kat Gal
Juices. Green juices. Green pressed juices. Fresh pressed juices. Omg, your head is spinning. You’ve read so much about the benefits of green juices and you want to get on the wagon now. You are googling pressed juicery stores, pressed juicery sales, pressed juiced brands online to trying to find what’s the best for you.
But did you know that you can just make your own cold pressed juice?
Here is how to get started.
6 Tips For Making AMAZING GREEN JUICES
#1. Start With A Base
The base of your green juice should always be some sort of a high water content hydrating vegetable. Cucumbers and celery are the most popular options that most green juices have. They are super hydrating and great for your digestion, skin and immune system.
For a liver cleansing and sweeter juice, you can try roots, like beets or carrots as well. Yes, your juice won’t be green in color when adding beets or carrots, but being a vegetable-based juice, it will still be considered a green juice.
#2. Pick Your Leafy Greens
Once you have your base, add your leafy greens. Kale, spinach, swiss chard, lettuce and bok choy are all excellent options. If you are new to juicing, start with a small handful of greens. As you get used to juicing, add more variety and larger amounts of greens slowly.
#3. Add Your Herbs
Herbs provide extra remedying and detoxifying benefits as well as a unique flavor. Cilantro, parsley and basil are some of the most popular herbs to add to juices, but mint, rosemary, tarragon and any other fresh herbs are options too.
#4. Spike Your Juice
Add some zing to your juice by adding a knob of ginger. I promise, it won’t make it too strong and will actually help with contracting a heavy green taste. Ginger has beautiful anti-inflammatory properties. Another spice you can add to your juices is turmeric, which is possibly the most powerful anti-inflammatory superfood out there.
#5. Add Some Lemon Or Lime
Adding lemon or lime to you juice will add some vitamin C, more anti-inflammatory, cleansing and alkalizing properties and will bring all the flavors together.
#6. Add A Bit Of Fruit
To add some sweetness to your juice, you can add a low-GI green apple as well. It is important not to make your green juices fruit heavy to prevent blood sugar issues. Green apples are the best options that you can add to your juice at any time, but other apples, pears and pineapple are also good choice that you can use occasionally.
If you are new to juicing, try this recipe:

I get it though, you may be intimidated by making your own green juice. You may be pressed with time. You may just want a reliable pressed juicery where you can buy your delicious green juices on-the-go or have them delivered to your doorstep.
There are so many companies out there, including BluePrint, Suja Juice, The Cold Pressed Juicery and Pressed Juicery to choose from. Most offer delivery and many of them can be found at your local health food store or cafe too. More and more cities and towns have pressed juice bars popping up all around and have cafes and restaurants offering cold pressed green juices as well.
Yet, if you are not prepared, googling pressed juicery sales, pressed juicery store hours, pressed juicery brands and pressed juicery anything can take time. The best is to have some Organifi handy if you are pressed with time and are on the go.
