So, as I was saying…
Although it was difficult to give up the sweets. I made it 56 days without any sort of sugar and figured if I could accomplish that, I might as well also cut out bread and pasta too! (I eventually cut out most dairy as well). I now stick to lean protein, vegetables and legumes for each meal and made sure to eat fresh and organic as often as possible.
Per Drew’s advice I incorporated 5 spices that made it easier to curb hunger and lose weight, and boy o’ boy was he right!!
Aided in controling my blood sugar and handled my insulin spikes when eating certain foods. When my insulin was under control my body was burning fat and not storing it.
The main ingredient in spicy cayenne—capsaicin, which is also found in other hot peppers—has long been studied for its fat-burning abilities and thermogenic properties (the stimulating of the central nervous system to produce heat in the body, leading to an increase in calorie burning).
Has the ability to improve digestion and promote the absorption of nutrients in tissues all over the body. Plus, its main component—piperine (which gives pepper its pungent taste)—boosts fat metabolism by as much as 8% for several hours after ingesting it.
Spicy mustard helps boost metabolism and allows you to burn fat more quickly, thanks in part to its thermogenic properties.
Ginger is an effective diuretic It also improves gastric mobility (i.e. it pushes food and waste through the digestive system) and hinders the absorption of cholesterol.
I had Drew develop a custom program for me through the Legacy Club and I began running 3 times a week and also incorporated yoga and Pilates into my weekly workout routine. This helped with my breathing and flexibility. I also try to work out in the morning, it gets my blood flowing… between that and drinking having juices.
This very well could be the most important part of the transformation, I got a juicer and a blender as a gift and have been using it diligently. These juices have given me sooo much energy.
Not only am I able to get more stuff done, I’m feel well rested and a lot less stress. I strongly encourage anyone thinking about it, to start right now.

The past 6 months have been rough and there were times that I wasn’t sure if there was a light at the end of the tunnel, those were the days I’d touch base with Drew Canole and get my mind back to the right place.
Drew taught me about “self talk” and remembering to keep positive and remember the end goal.
Because of Drew and taking a stand for healthy and fitness, my life will NEVER be the same.
The best part is that he has inspired me to pay it forward and help others create the same results. I have been able to inspire coworkers and friends to take control of their lives and health as well. It warms my heart to get emails with pictures of healthy lunches from my friends
- I went from a 31” waist to a 25” waist (6 inch loss)
- 42% body fat to 20% body fat (22% body fat loss)
- 155.8 Pounds to 110.4 pounds (45.4 pound loss)
Not to mention I am sleeping like a baby, my skin is glowing, my hair is growing and I have AMAZING energy. It’s truly amazing how making a conscious effort to GET HEALTHY can change so many things!
