Superfoods Can Help With Chronic Diseases

What Are Superfoods?
No, superfood won’t give you superpowers, but they will make you feel invincible. Superfoods are foods that are highly rich in nutrients and essential minerals, antioxidants and vitamins that your body needs in order to function properly.
If you add superfoods to your diet on a regular basis, these minerals, nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants can work in your body by lowering your risk of chronic diseases.

Coconut oil is full of medium-chain fatty acids that help to boost your endurance and performance.
4. Sweet Potatoes: This is another food that people may shy away from when it comes to their diet simply because potatoes are known to be loaded with starches, which are not necessarily good for your body. Sweet potatoes on the other hand are actually pretty healthy for you. This is because they are rich in key nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin A and potassium. Sweet potatoes also contain magnesium which is important for maintaining arteries, bones, your nerves and muscles, as well as helping you keep your heart healthy.
5. Salmon: This fish is loaded with healthy fatty acids such as omega-3 fatty acids that help to lower your risk of heart disease. Salmon also works by reducing inflammatory diseases in the brain such as dementia. Salmon is a great source of B vitamins, which help to increase your energy levels and strengthen your immune system.
