At one time or another, we have all experienced BO – that pesky, unwelcomed culprit to short-lived dates and yellow stains in your white t-shirts!
It turns out, body odor isn’t something that you just have to live with or cover up- there are lifestyle changes you can make to significantly decrease BO! Body odor can be a sign of a poor diet. If you eat a lot of processed foods and animal products, they can build up in your gut and cause unpleasant odor in your sweat.
When you clean up your diet, you will notice less and less body odor.
There are also some habits that can get rid of stink. One of those habits is DETOXING your ARMPITS.

Why You Should Detox Your Armpits
So, why detox your armpits, you ask? Why not just keep using commercial deodorants and antiperspirants?
We’re all loaded with toxins daily – even me, the crazy juice man! So staying on top of a daily detox routine is incredibly beneficial to combat, prevent and kick disease and illness to the curb.
Most deodorants on the shelves of the store contain a variety of chemicals and additives. The purpose of these products is to BLOCK to body’s natural ability to SWEAT.
The chemicals and additives found in deodorant include some scary stuff like aluminum, phthalates, antifreeze, formaldehyde, parabens and antibacterials. Many of these are known neurotoxins, carcinogens, endocrine disrupters and hormone mimickers.

When you are putting endocrine disrupting chemicals on your skin every day, it can easily mess up your body’s natural system; screwing with your hormones and compromising your immune system.
So, instead of loading your pits with potentially harmful chemicals, try a homemade armpit detox!
An Effective Method To Detox Your Armpits
The ingredients are simple!
1 tbsp bentonite clay
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1-2 tsp water
1 drop rosemary essential oil
Here’s how it’s done.
Mix all the ingredients together in a GLASS BOWL with a WOODEN SPOON. Never use metal as this can react negatively with the metal. You want it to be a creamy, sticky consistency.
Put the mixture all over your armpits and leave it for 10-20 minutes.
Wash off in a warm shower or with a wet towel.
Use daily until odor is eliminated. Most see results within a few days to two weeks.
Note: The area may get red because of increased blood flow but this is normal. If you notice any sensitivity or pain, remove immediately. You can soothe with coconut oil. Because that magical oil fixes everything!
