Shocking! Vegetarian Blood Is 8X More Effective At Killing Cancer Cells, According To Recent Study

A remarkable 2005 study has found that vegetarian blood is 8 times more effective at killing cancer cells than the blood of those eating a Standard American Diet (SAD).

What Dietary And Lifestyle Changes Did The Participants Make?

Participants’ blood was taken and studied in a petri dish to see how it faced cancer cells.

The vegetarian experimental group was prescribed a strict and intensive lifestyle program that included a vegetarian diet with 1 serving of tofu, 3 mg of fish oil, 400 IU of vitamin E, 2 gm of vitamin C and 200 mcg of selenium daily. Due to the intake of the fish oil, the diet was technically vegetarian, not vegan, but aside from that, no animal products were consumed. The diet was completely plant-based without vegan junk food. Participants were mandated to eat a diet of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and soy products with only a few simple carbohydrates and only about 10% fat.

They were also asked to exercise moderately by walking 30 minutes 6 days a week and engage in stress management techniques, including yoga stretches, meditation, relaxation and breathing for a total of 60 minutes a day.

Researchers have found that while these lifestyle practices were strict, they were also easy to learn and adhere to. Participants from earlier studies were able to keep up this diet for at least 5 years without a problem.

What Were The Results?

Researchers have found that the blood of the plant-based group was 8 times more powerful at stopping cancer cell growth than the non-plant-based group. It is important to note that these exceptional results didn’t only come from dietary changes, but lifestyles changes such as yoga, meditation, exercise and relaxation also played a role in the positive outcomes.

What Do Other Studies Say?

Other studies have supported the findings that a low-fat, high-carb, plant-based vegan diet along with exercise can slow down cancer growth within only 14 days. To understand the connection between diet and exercise, researchers have conducted further experiments. Turns out that while exercise can suppress cancer growth, a plant-based diet alone is twice as powerful.

Researchers have noted that the combination of a whole foods plant-based diet and a healthy life is key to a healthy and long life. It’s crucial to note that a plant-based lifestyle is better for the environment and the animals too. It is a win-win for all.

What Can You Do To Live Healthy, Happy And Cancer-Free?

  • Eat a whole foods plant-based diet with lots of green, vegetables, fruits, sprouts, whole grains, legumes, beans, nuts and seeds.
  • Eat organic whenever possible. If you can’t always buy organic, pay attention to the dirty dozen and clean 15.
  • Eliminate processed sugar, processed foods, artificial ingredients and additives.
  • Reduce and if possible, eliminate animal products. If you eat animal products, buy organic, hormone-free and free-range limiting your portion sizes and the number of days you are consuming them.
  • Exercise daily at least 20-30 minutes a day. Mixing up your exercise routine with cardio, weight training and low-impact exercises is the best idea. Walk whenever it’s possible.
  • Get some fresh air. Take walks outside and go for a hike. Spend time in nature and have plants in your house and your office.
  • De-stress your life. Engage in activities that enhance relaxation, including yoga, stretching, meditation, journaling, relaxation exercises, breathing, tai-chi, using essential oils and coloring.
  • Change your mindset to a positive and happy one. Practice gratitude each day. Find the good in every situation. Repeat positive mantras. Journal. Read books that help you improve your mindset. Spend time with people that lift you up.
