Walnut Taco Meat

  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne
  • salt & pepper to taste


  1. Add all ingredients (except salt & pepper) to your food processor and blend. “Taco meat” should come out a bit chunky, looking like ground beef. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. If you do not have a food processor and are using a blender, you may have to add a bit more liquid – option to add more olive oil or a few tbsp of coconut water. The consistency will be a bit more creamy this way.
