About the Recipe

This is a drink that will warm you up and get your blood boiling. It’s especially great in my hometown, Lake City, Michigan. What better way to warm up your body functions than by heating them up with some nutritious, bold and tasty juice. This juice will chase away the winter blues.


Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 beet
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 handful of cilantro
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cup tonic


Directions

  1. Wash all of your vegetables thoroughly. Trim the tops off of the carrots and the beat. Put the parsley and cilantro in toward the middle. Once the juice is complete, add the tonic and you are off. Garnish with a pickle, if you must.
