  • 4 ripe avocados
  • ½ large white/yellow onion, diced
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • add 1 jalapeno for spice (optional)


  1. Cut and spoon out avocados into a large mixing bowl. Mash and stir until creamy.
  2. Dice ½ of an onion and add to bowl.
  3. Finely chop cilantro and add to bowl.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Tip: you can add onion and cilantro in batches, stir, and then add more based on your desired taste.
  5. Serve with celery sticks, carrot sticks or add to your favorite Mexican dishes.
