So you are striving to eat healthier, but you have one heck of a sweet tooth. Sounds like a lose-lose type of situation, doesn’t it?

Well, I am happy to inform you that it is POSSIBLE to sate your sweet tooth while still eating healthy – and these quick little zucchini chocolate balls will be sure to do the trick!

Zucchini has been well known to help with weight loss, all the while still boosting the nutrient value of your diet. Zucchini helps to promote great eye health and your body to prevent all the diseases that can occur from a vitamin C deficiency like sclerosis, scurvy and easy bruising.

It has been known to help with asthma and has extremely high contents of protein, fiber, carbohydrates and vitamin C. Zucchini also contains significant quantities of potassium, which can assist in the body’s ability for muscle movement.

Raw Chocolate Zucchini Bites
  • 1 ½ cups oats
  • 10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup grated zucchini
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • For rolling your dessert into balls, you will need:
  • Cacao
  • Desiccated coconut
  1. Start by grating your zucchini and place the shavings into a bowl with just a pinch of salt to help in drawing out the moisture. Set it aside for the moment.
  2. Take your oats and put them into a blender and blend until they become oat flour.
  3. Squeeze out the water from your zucchini by hand and toss them into the blender with the rest of your ingredients. Blend them until properly combined.
  4. Scoop out your mixture into a large bowl and place your sweet treats into the fridge for 30 minutes or so. Using your hands, roll your concoction into small bite sized pieces and roll them in the cacao and coconut. Enjoy!

This quick little recipe helped me so much since I have worked very hard in watching what I eat. I have always had a huge sweet tooth and these little bites really hit the spot!

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
