Not A Fan Of Sauerkraut? Eat These Cinnamon Spiced Fermented Apples Sliced Instead

Written by: Lindsay Sibson

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away…

Then a fermented apple a day leaves the doctor unemployed.

Research has shown that eating a diet rich in fermented foods is not only linked to enhancing your overall gut health, but also has a positive impact on your mental well being!

If sauerkraut or kimchi doesn’t suit your taste, these sweet and tangy apples are the perfect snack to help you incorporate fermented foods into your diet and reap all of their incredible health benefits!

What Are Fermented Foods?

Fermentation preserves the nutrients in food and breaks down the food to a more digestible form.

Your body is full of TRILLIONS of beneficial bacteria that directly affect your health and well being and live in what is called your “microbiome.” They outnumber your human cells 10 to 1!

Every time you eat something, it has an impact on the environment in your gut – and your gut bacteria LOVE fermented foods.

Why Are Fermented Foods Important To Eat?

Because fermented foods contain an abundance of probiotics, these foods not only can improve your digestion by introducing beneficial bacteria into your system, but have also been shown to slow or reverse diseases and improve your overall health.

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
