Grab your ingredients because you are about to “BAM,  BAM, BAM, BAM” an incredibly tasty twist on chickpeas.

Benefits Of Pumpkin Spice Roasted Chickpeas

Chickpeas
  • Great source of iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphate, calcium, zinc and vitamin K
  • Supports building and maintaining bone structure and strength

Pumpkin
  • Excellent source of fiber: helps your stay fuller longer

Pumpkin Spice Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 16-ounce can organic chickpeas (1 ½ cups cooked chickpeas)
  • ⅓ cup pumpkin
  • 2 ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp of each:
    • Cloves
    • Ginger
    • Nutmeg
  • Sea salt to taste 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Pour the chickpeas in a large bowl.

3. In a small bowl, mix together: pumpkin, maple syrup, spices and salt.

4. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the chickpeas and stir everything until combined and the chickpeas are coated.

5. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread out the chickpeas evenly

6. Bake for 60 minutes.

    • Shake the chickpeas around every 15 minutes.
