Mindset Monday – Don’t Compete. Complete.
POSTED ON April 16, 2013 BY Drew Canole
Don’t Complete. Complete.
People in this world are competing all the time. People are competing for water, food, money, and jobs.
We need to drop all that – drop that mindset and pattern of thinking.
It comes down to completing. Think about how we can complete each other.
Help my brothers and sisters get what they want. And it comes back to you!
The airplane was not invented by Orville or Wilbur Wright it was invented the Wright brothers.
America was not navigated by Lewis or Clark it was Lewis and Clark.
The very fabric of our DNA was not discovered by Crick or Watson but by Crick and Watson.
How did all these people do it? They believed and they believed in themselves and each other. No movement or world changing revolution can be done by one man. We must do it together.
Why compete with everyone when we can work together to achieve our goals?
Steps you can take to help people complete.
Step 1. Become a better listener.
Step 2. Recognizing people’s needs. What can you do this week to help people complete?
Homework this Week:
– Help someone transform some aspect of their life! Take silent action to help someone you know.
Remember, we’re in this together.
