Mindset Monday – 7 Steps To Raise Your Vibration
Ever wonder why so many people seem happy all the time and you feel like you are doing all it takes just to “get by?”
Why am I so incredibly tired today?
This is a question I’ve been asking myself for the past week.
Is it the way I’ve been sleeping?
I have a tendency like many young entrepreneurs to call my “rest time” Facebook and Twitter time. Right before I slumber off into Canoleville, I like to peruse the internet. I’ve been significantly more tired this week then I have in a while. Usually, I have more than enough energy to work out 7 times a day, work 14 hours and still run half of a marathon before bed. Not this week…. Not only has my physical energy been drained I’ve been a little cloudy in my mind. Yesterday I was actually dizzy…
With all of the disturbance happening in Japan I can’t help think about the effect it has on all of us. I know and believe in the oneness that all of us share for a very long time. This past week I’ve truly felt pain and sorrow for my brothers and sisters across the pacific. I’m not the kind of person to sit in front of the TV and watch the news so I know being tired is not a derivative of the media. (Often times it is)
My energy shifted as soon as I received an email from one of my mentors whom I so seldom speak to. He emails me out of the blue and says 1 thing to me. “Raise your vibration so that none of what is happening or what will happen will effect you. You will become energetically immune to all that is happening.”
“You will become vibrationally immune.”
What does that mean?
In other words nothing can even enter your experience that would contaminate your life, thinking or your sense of well being. In Psalms 91 it brings up various ideas of protection. I’ve been studying this passage for a while and it often brings great comfort in time of perceived struggle. Pondering what my mentor said to me, I quickly started scribbling down everything I could do in the moment to raise my energy. Here are 7 of the easiest and sure fire ways to dramatically raise our vibration, and they are all so simple.
“Peace Be Still”
Often times when I’m dealing with a physical problem or a situation that is happening in consciousness I’ll pray and meditate over it and the answer will be delivered or I’ll feel better immediately. Have you ever had those times? Meditation will raise your vibration. When you quiet your mind it gives Divine Source an opportunity to reach out to your heart string and tug it. All you have to do is listen. You don’t have to chant or light any candles or sit in a funny position that cause your feet to fall asleep. Just sit in a chair or lie in your bed, take some deep breaths, do a visual meditation or just quiet your mind.
When you genuinely help others you automatically raise your vibration. There is no other time I feel more alive then when I’m assisting someone else with something they are working on. Often times when I’m coaching I’ll have opportunities come up where I’m helping other people that are in position to pass the light and help other people on a larger scale. Think of the ramifications this new paradigm would have on generations to come if we all adapted this mentality.
Get Out in Nature
Nature is one of the greatest environments to really re-charge your energetic batteries. Just step away from your work for a bit and go relax in nature. Breathe in the fresh air and look at some new scenery, this is a sure fire way to keep you focused on the bigger picture and amp up that battery of yours. Music Another one of my favorite things to do is to enjoy some music that puts me in a good mood. Even if you don’t have access to the music at the time you want it, just imagine the beat in your mind, this is sure to put a smile on your face and make you feel groovy. J
Take sometime and write out everything you are grateful for. Think about all the times you were there for someone or did something outside of yourself for the betterment of humanity. Often times we tend to dwell on our failures and don’t focus on our victories. Think about all of the little things to build up a rampage of appreciation.
Get A Workout In
There is a reason why movement keeps us healthy. When we work out we send powerful endorphins to the brain that make us feel good. The more we work out and the more we improve on a specific measurable result the happier we become as well. Make sure you are taking time each week to measure your results and setup new goals for the week.
One thing you must get really good at is recognizing when your vibration increases or decreases by the people you are around. If you are hanging around energy vampires on a constant basis then you need to eliminate them from your experience or spend less time with them. I know it may sound harsh or cruel but you have a mission here and if you are allowing other people to “get in the way,” then you just need to adjust. Choose to be around people that are going to build you up, not knock you down. Just be around people that truly believe in you and whatever your goals may be. (Even if it is turning your microwave into a teleportation machine.)
I hope these ideas help elevate your vibration. When turbulent times start to crop up in your experience it’s good to protect yourself mentally before doing anything else. Remember to observe your thinking, not letting any contaminated thoughts or events affect your energy levels. To have Fit Life, you must start with a “Fit Mind.”
Create your own “vibration lift” list.
When you get a feel for what raises your own vibration make a list you can always fall back on. Everyone has a different type of vibration they exude, your vibration lift will always be different than mine. It’s easy to find what lifts your spirits when you listen to your emotions.
