You’ve probably noticed a growing dietary movement towards paleo or primal eating. I began my paleo journey about a year ago and feel only gratitude for the amazing improvements I’ve enjoyed since. I converted cold-turkey, eating only unprocessed foods, quality proteins, healthy fats, and a vast amount of vegetables.

 

Before I knew it, I’d become a lean cavewoman.

My body loves eating this way, allowing me to naturally and easily maintain my slender, healthy figure.

 

 As most of you know, I’m a long-time vegetable juicer, it’s been pivotal in my life since I was young and my parents would make green drinks for my sister and I.  A question I get all the time is …

 

“How do I fit Juicing into my paleo lifestyle?”

 This is when I reveal how paleo and juicing is my secret weapon for seamless nutrition.

 Most people assume that juicing isn’t paleo friendly, because of high sugar and carbohydrates…this is not the case with GREEN DRINKS. While juicing only fruits and berries can include high amounts of sugar and carbs, green drinks (ie only greens, no fruits) offers the perfect paleo friendly solution.

 

 If you’ve ever considered going paleo or currently are, I’m going to share my strategies for success. You may be asking yourself “what’s so special about this combination?” It’s a perfect fit! Paleo eating is effective at creating lean, good-looking people because it encourages QUALITY foods, including unlimited vegetables. Juicing, as you’re probably aware, not only offers an upgraded, efficient means of consuming highly absorbable, nutrient rich greens, but also a critical FIRST step to detoxification. Flushing out toxins, phytoetrogens, and chemicals, allows your body to burn stubborn body fat and optimize your results.

 

Now you can see how including juiced vegetables into a paleo diet can supercharge you results! It’s the combination of two highly effective tools to create a super power.

So how can this powerful combo help you reach your goals faster? By following my custom-designed protocol below

 

  • Add juiced vegetables into your routine minimally 1x/day
    • Use juicing to enhance your nutrient intake, without sacrificing your calorie balance.
  • Limit fruit to 1-2 items/day
    • Because of the higher sugar content of fruits, adjust your juicing routine, limiting your fruit intake.
  • Juice fast (Alpha Reset) for 1-3 days only
    • Rather than going 7+ days without animal-based protein, and healthy fat, both of which are staples in any successful paleo diet, keep your juice fasts short. Juice periodically, and keep these scheduled fasts based on your desired results.
