How To Utilize Visualization

Many have asked me what the secret is to my successful transformation and I have found myself answering with the usual adage of nutrition and fitness. I even go so far as to explaining the mechanics, you know the one, 15% fitness and 85% nutrition.

I rarely share what I feel is the most important part of my transformation and that is the mindset.

The word ‘mindset’ has been very popular recently, books and health courses have been written and created for this very topic. This is because mindset is very important.

What is mindset? Simply put, it is an established set of attitudes held by someone. As a health coach, I believe it is very important to understand the power of your subconscious mind, because it is here that your mindset is nurtured.

At Fitlife we take it a step further, we use the subconscious mind for visualization. Visualization can be an incredible tool for you, because the more clearly you visualize yourself transformed, the easier it will become for you to take the necessary actions to create that reality.

The more your act like your transformed self and the more you become your transformed self, the more your subconscious mind will unfold your dreams into reality. A Fitlife transformation begins in the mind: THINK FEEL BECOME.

Now, how do you do this? This is how I did it.

1. First begin by taking the time to think of your end result. This may take a few sessions. You can even write down your end result to better capture it.

For me, I wrote down exactly what my end result would be, down to the measurements; I wrote how my face and skin would look after, how white and healthy my teeth would be, how shiny my hair would be, even how healthy and long my nails would be. I got really detailed. The key here is to be clear of your end result, whatever that may be for you.

2. Each morning, spend 1-3 minutes visualizing yourself transformed. I would see this amazingly healthy version of myself. I saw myself feeling and looking my best and in those three minutes I felt the best.

The key here is to visualize the details of your entire body, see your arms, legs, torso, back and face. Visualize the way your body feels and how it would feel to be inside that body that you are working on.

By doing these two simple yet very profound things everyday, your mind will find a way to make this happen. Suddenly it will be easier to eat healthier throughout the day and you will find yourself looking forward to working out and giving it your all.

I encourage you to visualize and communicate and show up in your life transformed. It is exciting to watch and feel what happens!
