How To Kill Negative Voices In Your Head Instantly

When negative voices take over your brain, it is painful to listen to yourself. Yet, you still give in and listen to these voices that kill your confidence and positive spirit. You let them hold you back. But you don’t have to.
Having negative voices is normal. Everyone has them. They come from our upbringing, societal messages, fears and lack of confidence. But you don’t have to listen to them. You have the power to change them.
It doesn’t matter if you are dealing with occasional negativity, such as “I left my cell phone at home, I am so dumb,” or “I am so clumsy for breaking this glass,” or chronic negativity with a constant broken record saying “I am not good enough. I can’t do it. I am too dumb/ugly/fat/etc. I will fail anyways,” you have the power to stop these thoughts in their tracks. You have the power to ignore them and to change them.
This genius NLP technique can stop negative voices in their tracks and get them out of your head forever.
First, recognize that these are not your true thoughts. These voices come from fear and beliefs learned from your upbringing or society. They may come from trauma and negative experiences. But they are not true thoughts from your authentic self. Your true authentic self is loving and would not put you down. Sure, these negative voices sound real and like yours, but they are not.
Once you recognize that they are not yours, stop letting them speak in your voice. Give them a different personality and a different voice instead.
Just imagine: what if these negative voices sounded like Donald Duck? How about Janice from Friends (“Don’t you know it yet? You love me Chandler Bing. You want me, you need me, you can’t live…”)? Or someone speaking with a mouthful of helium?
Would you be able to take them seriously? Nope: likely you would bust out laughing.
Intentionally change your negative voices to something odd, weird or funny. To put you in the mood, you can watch a few Friends episodes or Donald Duck or whatever other character you’ve picked, then move onto the exercise.
You won’t be able to take the negative voice seriously anymore.
The more you try this exercise, the easier it will be for you to laugh at and ignore this voice. When the negative voice is being ignored, it comes up less and less and eventually disappears. Also, laughing at the funny voice will give you leverage to change it to a positive affirmative instead.
Give this exercise a try for the next few months. It may just transform your thoughts completely.
