I first broke up with fancy coffee shops because of the ridiculous prices. $4.50 for a small chai latte with cow’s milk (which I KNOW will ruin my digestion and make me feel sick) – SAY WHAT?

However, I still found myself creeping back in to indulge in the occasional “specialty beverage.” Who can resist that frothy cup of spicy goodness?

Homemade Coconut Chai Latte
  1. In a small pot over medium heat, add all chai latte ingredients and bring to a simmer.
  2. Lower head and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  3. Strain out spices.
  4. To make it creamy and frothy, pour ingredients into the blender and mix it for 10 seconds.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon for a beautiful touch!
