Green Juice In A Blender

I’m a lover… hands down.
My list of things I dislike is a rather short one (because there is a silver lining in nearly everything – RIGHT?).
However, if you forced me to write a “Do Not Like” list, it would go something like this:
- Canned fruit juice
- Juice in cans
- Canned juice
- Cans of juice
- Juice can
Overkill? I THINK NOOOOOOOOOT!
Why the disdain for the canned stuff?
Because it is LIES – all lies! Whatever substance is contained within is NOT juice. It reminds me more of something the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would see in their sewer. GROSS.
That is why you MUST ditch the cans (and overly processed bottles) of juice and make your own at home.
How To DIY Green Juice, Even If You Don’t Have A Juicer!
Other ingredients for green juice include (but of course are not limited to):
Green Juice In Blender Recipe
- 2 red apples
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 lemons, peeled
- 3 cups spinach
- ½ cup parsley
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled
- Wash all of the ingredients and chop them into pieces.
- Place the ingredients in a blender (or juicer if you have one!) and mix until well combined.
- Using a strainer over a wide mouth glass, pour the juice through the strainer to remove the pulp.
- Place the pulp back in the blender (or juicer) and mix again to release more juice (add a few tablespoons of filtered water if needed).
- Pour the mixture through the strainer again to remove the pulp.
- Press down on the pulp to release more juice.
