Get Through The Week With This Revitalizing Smoothie

This past weekend was a very long and busy one for me. I helped moved someone across state lines and was on the road for more than 12 hours. This really took a toll on my body. I am still feeling fatigue and stress from this move.

Because life and time waits for no man, I look for ways to rejuvenate and refresh my body as best as I can. The easiest and best way I have found is to juice and drink smoothies.

This smoothie in particular is a really great smoothie for restoring and reviving your body. It’s high in vitamin C, which boosts the immune system and has strong anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties. And it is just plain delicious!

Turmeric Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 grapefruit, juiced
  • 2 oranges, juiced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1-inch piece of ginger
  • 1-inch piece of turmeric
  • 4 to 5 ice cubes

Instructions:

1. Add the juice of oranges and grapefruit to the blender. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

2. Pour and enjoy!
