Fitlife Team – Who We Are In 2015
At Fitlife.tv, we place a huge emphasis on the importance of being grateful each and every day. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and lose sight of all the incredible gifts around and within us, so taking a moment to reflect on all of the beautiful people and experiences in our life is something we cherish.
I am reminded each day when I open my eyes how truly blessed I am – as are all of you. We have a ridiculously awesome, passion-driven and inspiring team running the show at Fitlife.tv in an effort to inspire, empower and educate our incredible community. Transforming 1 million lives is our mission and it’s because of YOU – our peeps – that we have the pleasure to call what we do – and LOVE – “work” and spend time each day dreaming, manifesting and implementing new ideas in an effort to positively impact the world around us.
We wanted to take a moment and let you know how GRATEFUL we are for all of YOU! Thank you for being part of our movement to change lives. Thank you for allowing us space in your life and showing us that nothing is impossible… we are all truly limitless human beings.
With that, we wanted to share a little about ourselves because to us, you’re all family. Thank you for all that you do and all that you are.
From all of us at Fitlife.tv… WE APPRECIATE YOU!
We’re in this together.
Drew and the Fitlife team 🙂
Drew Canole – CEO
I love all humanity. I enjoy juicing veggies, lifting weights and reading books. I can most commonly be found day dreaming about a world where organic farmers markets are on every corner, or mixing different superfood elixirs in my kitchen. I’m thankful for everyone that has contributed to my life up to this point – the dozens of mentors I’ve had and the Fitlife team, which together, we are about to take it to a whole new level. If you are reading this, something tells me you are ready to play a part. I don’t want to twist your arm or anything. 😉
Carol Lehmann – Director of Design / Social Media
I grew up in New York. I am a designer turned Whiskey distiller (one of 5 women in the world at the time!) turned Juicer… then I listened to the signs of the Universe and fell back in love with design by creating an epic t-shirt design in a contest for fitlife.tv, which is what led me to work for this awesome company. I enjoy crystals, rocks, tarot, music, art, laughing and anything to do with going down the rabbit hole to learn more about myself and those around me. I enjoy documentaries and learning everything I can about GMO’s, the food system, spirituality, letting go, speaking your truth and all of the beautiful things life has to offer. I am thankful for my Fitlife family for always pushing me to the next level. Your biggest resistance may be your greatest teacher… listen carefully. Always be grateful and live from your heart space. Remember that nobody is perfect and everyone has a story and most of all… love yourself in the process, there IS beauty in the break down. Believe.
Mae Desmond – Director of Coaching
I’m a morning person and find relaxation working out in the gym, meal prepping in the kitchen, or hiking a new trail in San Diego. You can find me listening to a podcast and scribbling notes in one of my moleskin journals. At the office my nickname is ‘the hammer’ or ‘Mama Mae.’ I’m a total technology geek and get easily (and happily) carried away thinking BIG. I am thankful for a never-ending hunger to do better and think bigger. Experiencing a strong sense of togetherness within not only our Fitlife family, but our community at large because this gives myself and our team tangible purpose in what we get to do and create every daily.
Djamel Bettahar – Director of Business Development & Operations
I am a West Coast thrill seeker, born in San Francisco, CA and currently based in San Diego, CA. I love surfing, snowboarding, lifting and eating SUSHI. I am thankful to have the opportunity to create value in the world and work with a passionate, inspired group of individuals.
Sheree Trask – Director of Content Marketing / Editorial
A native of Seattle, WA, I moved to San Diego, CA for college and never looked back (sorry, Mom!). I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Lupus Warrior and Writer with a passion for interesting and inspiring people, books, writing, green juice, superfoods, dreaming BIG, fashion, dancing, sunshine, the ocean, new experiences, growth, traveling, pilates and yoga and laughter… a lot of laughter! I am a firm believer in all of our limitless potential, the power of positive mindset, speaking your truth with love and compassion, manifesting your desires and the healing powers Mother Nature provides. You can usually find me being a big dork with a smile on my face, reading a good book or coaxing friends into trying something new. I am thankful for my Fitlife family and the gift of being blessed to help people every day with a group of amazing people who I not only call my friends, but my co-workers and family as well. Life is a seriously beautiful masterpiece and I feel grateful to share space with you all.
David Lupica – Director of Videography
Music, art and writing have always been my source of inspiration. I enjoy songwriting, karaoke, hiking, filmmaking, farmers markets and studying languages. I’m super thankful that I work with people every day who changed my life and continue to do so, introducing me to the power of healthy food. I feel like I was given a whole new body to live and thrive in. Nothing is more gratifying than hearing how others have experienced the same thing. To know that I can be a part of something that makes even the tiniest impact on someone else’s health and happiness, that’s the greatest gift of all. So I’m thankful for YOU!
Jenna Barrington – Writer

Jaclyn Beach – Relations Director
I have been with Fitlife.tv since 2012. Each day is another day to give thanks and be grateful. I wake up each day with the opportunity to bless the world with something I have to offer – and I also get the opportunity to learn and be blessed from the diversity of many. I have met so many amazing people through the eyes of Fitlife and I am continually awe-inspired by each and every one of them. I get to wake up each morning and help people achieve their personal goals in life – I am truly blessed. I am thankful for my Fitlife family. Finding Drew Canole was a Godsend for me. He taught me that life is something you need to seek if you want true results. He was right. I lost over 100 lbs. thanks to a different mindset approach and other necessary changes. Fitlife and Drew helped me gain that mindful confidence. Not only am I thankful for each moment I am given, but I am truly thankful for those that enlighten my life – my husband Chris and our 4 beautiful children, my Dad and Mom, my sisters, co-workers, friends, my “Fur People” (Mitzy and Gus, my 2 mini Schnauzers) and last and most importantly, God.
Chris Beach – Manager of Customer Support
I’m the Father of 4 wonderful children and a husband to an amazing woman. I have been with Fitlife since 2013. I was a customer from almost the beginning of Fitlife.tv in 2012. I’m so very thankful to be a part of a movement much larger than myself. Not only has juicing and Fitlife.tv changed my life personally, but now I get to help others do the same. We’re in this together isn’t just a slogan, I truly believe you are as strong as those you surround yourself with. It all started as a personal transformation, now I literally help save lives everyday.

Mikey Simoes – Web Developer
I love creative challenges, building things digitally (and in real life) and helping to bring the ideas and dreams of other people to life in fun and innovative ways. I am thankful for multiple screens, they help keep me sane in a world of cmd+tab and alt+tab.
Sara Wylie – Editorial Intern
Raised to turn my eyes to the stars when life gets rough, I have grown up as a dreamer with an imagination that’s given my spinning world its flame. Music is what gives my life its beat. Writing is what graces my soul with wings. Adventure is what soothes my wander-lusting heart. And I’m in love with the idea of bringing change into the world with who I am becoming. I am thankful for passion and the power it ignites in people’s hearts. Passion is what brings this world its beauty and reminds me of the good that’s still here amidst all the darkness and confusion. Fitlife gives people a fantastic opportunity to shine their light and nurture their own passions and I don’t know what I did before without such a great family and team to be a part of.

I’m thankful that Fitlife has given me a larger perspective on life. A chemist by profession, I love to read books/articles about finances, investments, health, motivation, mindset and scientific/technological developments. I have a tendency to choose to do things which I find difficult, simply to prove to myself that I can do them and have a different perspective. I look forward to learning something new every day. I am thankful for being a part of the Fitlife.tv team. I am able to see how important it is to invest in our health. I am thankful for the people I have the pleasure of working with and have quickly realized that nothing is impossible with determination and conviction. I am inspired by the stories they share and find it amazing how so many people are able to achieve things that many others deem ‘impossible’.
