Sunflower Seed Milk
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup rawsunflower seeds
  • 3 cups of water
  • Optional: 2 tbsp of sweetener (honey, maple syrup or date syrup)
  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla
  • A pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Soak the sunflower seeds with the salt in water for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Strain and rinse after soaking.
  3. Put the seeds and 3 cups of water into your blender. Blend well for 2-3 minutes until finely ground and closer to a thicker milk texture.
  4. Run it through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth or strainer. You can use the leftover fiber in smoothies.
  5. Add your sweetener and/or vanilla if you want a sweeter taste.
  6. This milk keeps in your fridge for 3 days.
