Immune Boosting Gummy Bears
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup elderberry syrup (Learn how to make your own HERE)
  • ½ cup hot water (but not boiling)
  • ¼ cup Gelatin powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (to grease the pan)
  • Silicon molds OR glass pan
Instructions
  1. To prevent sticking, use the coconut oil to grease the molds/pan.
  2. Place ¼ cup of cooled elderberry syrup in a 2 cup measuring cup.
  3. Add gelatin powder.
  4. Whisk together to temper the gelatin powder.
  5. Add ½ cup of hot water.
  6. Stir quickly until smooth.
  7. Add the remaining elderberry syrup.
  8. Whisk until completely smooth.
  9. Pour the mixture into the molds and place in fridge for 2 hours (or until firm).
  10. Remove the gummies by popping them out of the molds.
  11. Store in an airtight container.
  12. Use parchment paper between layers to prevent clumping.
  13. Will last up to a week in the refrigerator.
