Cold Brew Coffee
 
 
This recipe yields a highly concentrated cold brew coffee that can be stored in your refrigerator and ready to use whenever you want.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups organic, high quality coffee, coarsely ground
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • Large glass jar with lid
  • Alternative: bowl or pitcher with lip
  • Note: You can adjust the amount of water and coffee you add depending on how strong your like your coffee.
Instructions
  1. Place the coffee and water into the glass jar. Stir to combine.
  2. Put the lid on the jar and then place it in the refrigerator.
  3. Allow the jar to “brew” for 12 hours.
  4. Note: For a stronger brew, you can leave it for up to 24 hours.
  5. When it is finished “brewing,” pour the coffee through a fine mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter.
  6. The coffee will slowly drip through the filter
  7. Alternative: Use a french press
  8. Once the coffee has been strained, store it in a lidded jar in your refrigerator.
Notes
To Use: Mix the cold brew coffee concentrate with cold water until you reach the desired strength.
