Vegan Pesto
Recipe type: Dressing
  • 2 cups lightly packed fresh basil
  • ½ cup raw, unsalted pine nuts
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbs. nutritional yeast
  • Sea salt and fresh pepper, to taste
  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor and store in an airtight container up to 5 days. Enjoy on fish, chicken or as a dip for veggies.
