Ginger Tea

Ingredients
  • 4 cups of water
  • Ginger root (1 - 2 inches)
  • 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 - 2 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
Instructions
  1. Peel and slice your ginger root.
  2. Boil some water.
  3. Add the ginger slices and let them boil for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Take the pot off the stove and cover it with a lid.
  5. Leave it for 15 minutes, then strain the tea.
  6. Flavor it with lemon and/or honey or drink it as is.
Notes
It is best to drink the tea without adding anything. If you do not like its taste you can always add some honey and lemon.
