Easily Transform Hummus Into A Gut Remedying Snack

Written by: Lindsay Sibson

There are two types of people in the world.

Those who attempt to scoop as much hummus as possible onto a single carrot stick.

Or those who take said carrot stick for a wee little plunge just to catch a bit of flavor.

Which are you?

A scooper, of course – right? That’s the BEST way, because hummus is all sorts of deliciousness blended into a glorious dip.

As if hummus weren’t already an attractive snack, did you know that you can turn it into a gut remedying food?

It’s all possible as a result of adding a fermented food!

What Are Fermented Foods?

Fermentation preserves the nutrients in food and breaks down the food to a more digestible form. This pre-digested state allows the nutrients in the foods to be more bioavailable to your body.

Your body is full of TRILLIONS of beneficial bacteria that directly affect your health and well being.

These bacteria live in what is called your “microbiome” and love to feast on their favorite foods.

Why Eat Fermented Foods?

Your gut bacteria LOVE fermented foods, which contain probiotics that:

Eating fermented foods provides:

  • A huge dose of gut remedying probiotics
  • Balance for your inner ecosystem
  • Enzymes that help your body break down food, making them easier to digest
  • Relief from diarrhea, constipation, gas and heartburn
  • Loads of fiber that keep your digestive tract healthy

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
