Let me tell you a story, a story about Three Treasures. This is a story a good teacher of mine once told me:

In ancient Chinese Taoist herbalism, you are taught that there are energy forces called the THREE TREASURES, which are the essential energies sustaining human life:

  • Jing – The base of a candle, this is your body, your Core Essence, the sum of who you are.
  • Qi (or Chi) – Likened to the flame of a candle, this is the energy that moves you throughout your life.
  • Shen – The light from the candle, this is the Spirit and Light that you share with the world.

A lot of us run heavily on Qi energy, burning it hot and fast, which eventually leads us to burn out. So then, we run for that cup of coffee or soda pop and push throughout the day until we collapse at night.

Burning Chi is like burning kindling. It burns fast, but if there is no substance to it, it burns out quickly. If you have ever suffered a burnout, this is why.

How Can You Burn Your Fire The Right Way?

We nourish our Jing and Shen energies through diet, lifestyle and adaptogenic tonic herbs. These tonic herbs and teas are connected with the Chinese philosophy of Taoism. For thousands of years, the Chinese have believed that the entire universe is pervaded by a special energy and an all-pervading force.

The Earth was destined to sit at the center of Heaven and all the cosmological forces, receiving energy in balance from outer-space. This massive life-force energy is known as “CHI” or “Qi” in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The greatest concentration of this life-force energy is in the human body, mainly in the GI tract or Gut, which should be treasured and nourished daily so you can achieve everlasting health and wisdom.

This journey of discovery, your life, is to be your Tao, your path. These Three Treasure Forces will make your journey easier and ultimately, effortless. Remember, these are the forces that give you life. Jing is your Vital Essence that defines who you are, Qi (chi) is your vital spark that manifests your energy and Shen is your spirit, your light.

How Can You Enhance These Forces In Your Life?

By the use of these Tonic Herbs, you can naturally nourish these Forces:

1. Schisandra – This is one of oldest Super fruits. This wonder berry has been used for a millennium in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). Schisandra has been used as a tonic for anti-aging, anti-fatigue and enhancing sexuality.

2. Gynostemma – Known in China as “the Immortality Herb,” Gynostemma was reserved for Chinese Royalty for promoting life, longevity, fertility and immortality. The main goal of this herb is to restore balance and equilibrium to the cardiovascular, digestive, immune, nervous and reproductive systems, strengthening the mind, reducing fatigue and improving oxygenation.

3. Rhodiola – Considered a sacred herb, Rhodiola is used as a powerful vitalizer and provides excellent muscle recovery and memory enhancement. It also provides cardiovascular and immune system support and is regarded as a life-prolonging, wisdom enhancing “superior herb” used by the Tibetan monks to enhance their inner spiritual power, the power of concentration and improving oxygenation, which will result in physical endurance.

4. Eleuthero – Once known as Siberian Ginseng, Eleuthero has been shown to reduce the activation of the adrenal cortex, which is involved in your natural responses to stress. Eleuthero helps increase physical and mental endurance and helps improve memory and alertness.

5. Licorice Root – This herb builds energy and aids digestion. Naturally detoxifying, licorice root balances blood sugar levels and nourishes adrenals. It relaxes AND strengthens your muscles.

Here are some Diet Do’s:

  1. Have a large glass of water with ½ lemon upon waking.
  2. Eat before 10:00 a.m. Ideally, having protein within an hour of waking.
  3. Eat frequent (every 3 hours), small meals throughout the day.
  4. Eat 30-40% whole grains, 30-40% vegetables (don’t forget, some should be raw), 10-15% beans, seeds and raw nuts, 10-20% animal protein and 5-10% fruits.

Your adrenals sit on top of your kidneys, which is near your GI tract (gut), so keeping your Gut healthy will benefit your adrenals, as well as your entire endocrine and immune system.

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
