“Orange is the happiest color.” – Frank Sinatra

I think Frank was onto something…

Not only is it a happy color, but its juices will bring an abundance of happiness to your body!

Sure, you can pull the peel off and pop a few pieces into your mouth – BUT if you really want to get the MOST out of your oranges…

Make them into a cold pressed ORANGE JUICE!

What Is Cold Pressed Juice?

Cold pressed juice refers to a fresh juice that is made by using a hydraulic press to extract the juice from vegetables and fruits.

Therefore, this juice is 100% made from fruits and vegetables – with NO added ingredients!

It is made without pasteurization and therefore, is best consumed right after making it or can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Because no heat is applied during the extraction process, the low level of oxidation results in a juice that is flavourful, colorful and nutrient rich.

Health Benefits Of Cold Pressed Orange Juice

“Orange strengthens your emotional body, encouraging a general feeling of joy, well-being and cheerfulness.” – Tae Yum Kim

  • 1 orange supplies more than 100% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C
  • Oranges contain an array of healthy nutrients: fiber, thiamine, folate, potassium, copper, vitamin B1 and calcium
  • An orange has over 170 different phytochemicals and more than 60 flavonoids
  • Anti-inflammatory properties
  • Strong antioxidant effects
  • Oranges are rich in citrus limonoids that help fight a number of varieties of cancer, such as breast, colon, stomach, lung and  skin
  • Oranges are full of dietary fiber and can help relieve constipation
  • Oranges contain many alkaline minerals, which balance your body’s pH level
  • Oranges help lower cholesterol, thanks to their soluble fiber content
  • They are rich in potassium and boost heart health

Note: If you aren’t a big fan of oranges, you can easily make a cold pressed vegetable juice instead. I suggest trying out a cold pressed apple juice – OH, so refreshing and crisp!

How To Make Cold Pressed Orange Juice

Whether you are new to making fresh cold pressed juice or embarking on a cold pressed juice diet, it is important to know HOW to make it so that you can get the absolute MOST benefits from your juice!

1. Clean the oranges in fresh cold water with your homemade produce wash.

      • Allow to air dry.

2. Cut the orange in half (leave the skin on!).

3. Place the oranges directly in the fruit press and press slowly until the juice starts flowing.

      • Keep at full pressure until the juice flows to a slow drip.

4. Drink your fresh cold pressed orange juice immediately or bottle and store in the refrigerator.

Don’t have a cold pressed juice? NO WORRIES!

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
