Coffee For Weight Loss

Written by: Brandi Monasco

We all know the important role that coffee plays in our lives. For many of us, this beverage means the difference between night and day, but did you know that it has many other benefits also?

You may be surprised, but you can actually make coffee a big part of your weight loss regimen! Coffee has many benefits that can help your body lose weight. This means that along with waking you up, this drink has the power to slim you down too.

How does it do it?

The mystery behind this fat burning property in coffee can be explained by its caffeine content. It’s actually this chemical that gets to work on your fat, melting it off. Once coffee enters into your body, the caffeine acts on all the cells to increase their metabolism. This makes your body work on overdrive, which results in more consumption of energy and more utilization of your fat.

Caffeine also has a workout boosting function too. Consumed about an hour before exercise, coffee increases your fat burning potential. This leads to increased shedding of pounds with every workout session, resulting in a faster and more efficient workout.

In addition to this, coffee also breaks down the fat in your bloodstream, making it healthier and less fatty, which puts your body in a better position to lose weight.

Coffee also contains a useful chemical called chlorogenic acid, which is the chemical that is strongly related to coffee’s specific color, taste and scent. It has a fat burning effect on the liver that contributes to the overall coffee-induced fat reduction. Chlorogenic acid is also filled with antioxidants, which are useful chemicals needed to combat environmental toxins. This also means that coffee has great anti-aging effects for your skin, keeping you young and beautiful forever.

Coffee also has a whole list of other advantages for your body as well. Its antioxidant content helps fight against cancer and its urine forming diuretic effect results in rapid flushing of any excess water from the body, keeping your kidneys healthy and preventing any edema or swellings. Coffee also has a great role in unclogging arteries and improving blood circulation, which leads to endless benefits for the heart.

Besides all of these roles of coffee, we all know that it is a great alertness mediator with the added property to relax as well.

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
