It’s not easy going through a breakup, but instead of reaching for the stereotypical Ben & Jerry’s tub of ice cream, nurture your broken heart with something nutritious.

This “breakup smoothie” includes important nutrients, like Vitamin B6 in the bananas, which is a sure-fire way to alleviate any irritability or stress you may be feeling. Have you ever watched the way monkeys play around, seemingly living stress-free? I can’t help but wonder if maybe it’s because of all the bananas they are eating!

This vitamin also raises dopamine (the “feel good” hormone) in your brain, which may help to keep your moods and path to wellness balanced through your breakup.

The spinach in this smoothie gives you added iron to keep your energy up so you can continue with your everyday tasks, or even hit up the next yoga class.

This recipe yields approximately 2 quarts, so you will remain hydrated enough to get your sweat on with a good workout. For an extra boost, use coconut water!

The fruit is refreshingly packed with nutrients like potassium and Vitamins A and C.  The ginger will give you a clear outlook on your situation and will help detoxify and reduce inflammation in your body, while the avocado will keep your skin looking radiant.

Relationships are meant to help you grow, which allows for the space necessary to be the most ultimate version of yourself on this Earth. While it’s not always easy, the outcome, ultimately, is certainly worth it. YOU are worth it!

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
