5 Ways To Biohack Fat Loss
Today I want to talk about getting the MOST efficiency out of simple habits, or in other words, tricking your body to burn way more fat than it normally would.
#1. Exercise Before Eating Breakfast
Get out of bed in the morning and, without eating a thing, workout for 20-45 minutes in your fat burning zone. This means you’re working at about 80% capacity, or 20% below your “going all out this sucks” zone. This shouldn’t be overly difficult and could be something like taking your dog on a brisk walk, doing some yoga or doing some easy laps in the pool.
Again, this should be fasted exercise, meaning you don’t have any food in your system when you begin.
#2. Before Your Workout, Drink Coffee Or Green Tea
Drinking a little caffeine before your fasted morning workout will help you burn fat more efficiently. Make sure you pick a drink that doesn’t have any sugar, as this will backfire. No red bull, no sugary mocha. Just plain coffee or a cup of green tea is perfect.
#3. Two-Five Minutes Of Cold
After you finish your workout, do something to make yourself cold. Take a cold shower, jump in a river or lake, soak in some cold water… whatever. For AT LEAST two minutes but NO MORE than five minutes, get cold! Physiologically this unlocks some cool metabolic functions that will help encourage your body to burn fat more effectively.
#4. Control Your Blood Sugar
If sugar is sitting around in your bloodstream for too long it turns straight into FAT. Not only that, but a diet high in sugar leads to inflammation, high cortisol levels, diabetes and obesity.

If you do these three things daily and also decrease your sugar intake as much as possible, not only will you lose pounds fast but you will also start to feel more energy throughout the day, a clearer head, and improved mood.
Settle down the body and reduce stress by engaging in intentional breathing exercises. My favorite one to do is this: close one nostril and breath in only through the open one. Do this for five breaths. Then switch sides and repeat. You should feel your body calm down and your stress levels decrease. Do this whenever you start to feel anxious, overly stressed or overwhelmed.
