What Is Candida And Yeast?
So, what is it exactly? It’s not just about yeast infections. I know, this is NOT a sexy topic. But as you can see – it’s important!
Candida is a fungal infection that feeds off of dead tissues in the body and sugars from the food you eat. It can quickly monopolize entire body systems if left unchecked, especially the digestive tract.
Fungus in the body is usually harmless, but when your ecosystem is out of balance or your immune system is weakened, candida can quickly spread.

Candida Spit Test: First thing in the morning, fill a cup with some water. Work up the biggest wad of spit you can, then spit into the cup. If your spit floats at the surface AND there are dangly strings coming down from your spit, this is a sure sign you have candida.

#1. Limit Your Sugar Intake
Bacteria and yeast feed on SUGAR. The more sugar you eat, the more you’re feeding them! Instead, fill your diet with lots of whole vegetables, nuts and seeds and healthy fats like coconut oil, avocado and wild-caught fish. When you need something sweet, opt for raw cacao (aim for at least 70% or higher) or use stevia or another natural sweetener.

#2. Eat Lots Of Antioxidants

#3. Oregano Oil
Oregano oil, as you can imagine, packs a quick punch. It has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties! You can put a few diluted drops in a capsule and take with water once or twice daily to help burn off candida and bacteria in your system. You can also gargle it with a little water to help get rid of a sore throat or infection.
