I knew the cappuccino I ordered at the cafe in Sicily, Italy was going to give me a stomach ache.

But I drank it anyway.

Even though I knew it would upset my digestion, I continued drinking the frothy delights each morning. However, upon returning to the U.S., I was eager to try “Bulletproof Coffee.”

The idea is that you add grass-fed butter and coconut oil to your coffee and blend it.

Sound strange to you? It did to me as well… until I tried it!

The beverage was creamy, frothy and satisfied my hunger like never before (without disrupting my stomach). This simple concoction introduced me to the power of eating healthy fats.
