Two Ways To Juice Papaya

Use A Juice Extractor

You can juice papayas using a juice extractor just like you would when making your green juice. Peel the skin, half it lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and chop it into smaller pieces. Run it through your juicer. Expect about 8 ounces of juice from an average-sized fruit. Note that it’s much easier to juice firm papayas than softer ones.

Use A Blender

Another way to juice papayas it to use a blender. Peel the skin, half it lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and chop it into smaller pieces. Blend it well. At this point, you can strain it with a strainer or nut milk bag. You can also add some water and blend it for a creamier juice. Since the fiber slows down your digestion, blending without straining is actually healthier, especially if you are watching your blood sugar.

6 Papaya Juicing Recipes

Papaya-Carrot Juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh carrot juice
  • 1.5 cups papaya chunks
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • A handful of ice cubes

 

Instructions: Blend all ingredients in your blender.

Mint-Papaya Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • ¼ papaya, peeled, in chunks
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 green apple
  • Handful of mint
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Papaya-Turmeric Energizer

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of papaya chunks

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium papaya, peeled, seeded, in chunks

Papaya-Banana Juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions: Blend it in your blender.

Green Papaya Juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of papaya
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • 1 green apple

  • 1 lemon
