6 Ingredient (Healthier) Easy Chocolate Fudge Recipe

Written by: Jessica Baumgardner

If you’re looking for a better-for-you sweet treat this Valentine’s Day, look no further! This super-easy, one-bowl, healthier fudge will be a hit with your sweetheart (as long as you don’t devour it all yourself first!).

Warning: deliciousness ahead.

Why is this fudge better for you?

  • You are replacing refined white sugar with pure maple syrup.

Make sure you are getting “pure” grade A or B maple syrup. Most products claiming to be “maple syrup” are actually maple flavored corn syrup, yuck!

While you should consume all sugars and sugar replacements in moderation – pure maple syrup is a better choice because it is less processed and gives you some nutrients that white sugar just doesn’t, including: magnesium, potassium, calcium and zinc.

  • You are using a healthy fat (coconut oil) in lieu of processed vegetable oils that have no nutritional benefits.

Coconut oil is antimicrobial, strengthens the immune system and promotes heart health… among many other benefits!

  • You are not including any gluten, dairy, or processed soy products – which tend to clog digestion and lead to other issues like acne!

6 Ingredient (Healthier) Easy Chocolate Fudge Recipe
Recipe type: Dessert
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup cashew butter
  • ¼ cup PURE grade A or B maple syrup
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Mix the below ingredients together in a big bowl.
  2. Add the mix to a casserole dish or baking pan and freeze until solid.
  3. Take it out once hardened and cut it up into squares - but still keep this cold so the coconut oil doesn't melt! (I'd even just keep it in a Tupperware container in the freezer and take out pieces as needed - they will thaw rather quickly.)

Treat your sweetheart some homemade dessert this weekend and have some left over for a little guilt-free dessert throughout the week!

What Our Clients Say*

During my FitLife transformation, I lost 70 pounds! That's why I signed up for the protocol, but the most exciting result is that I found ME in the process. I had been hiding under a pile of pounds, self-doubt, and grief! FitLife changed my life and I knew I had to share it with others.

-Lynne, Longwood FL

I started with Fitlife back in 2011-2012…I wrote into Fitlife asking for an extreme amount of help. I was 300 pounds, with high cholesterol, and Drew helped me transform my life. I lost over 130 pounds and I no longer have high cholesterol. Not only did I lose weight, so did my husband, who lost over 70 pounds!
