Connection

Confidence is not something you get from the external world. It is not your possessions, your house, your car, your clothes, your shoes… 

It’s actually about who you really are. And who you really are is a spark of divinity. You are a little droplet of water in the ocean. There is a connection that takes place in your life from this angle. It is not the separation you are used to seeing that creates distance and anxiety, but the connection that binds humanity. This connection brings forth you, every human and every living thing in this universe. You are literally in this oneness.

When you connect and plug in, tap in, tune in to the highest version of who you are and this divine connection, your confidence is going to be sky high. It is not about you. The minute you look at you, you start pointing out your flaws. When you are connected to this divinity, it’s going to change your life forever.

Posture

How is your posture? Are you slouching or upright? I have a simple trick. Roll your thumbs back, it will force your shoulders to roll back. Sitting is another area to pay attention to. Sitting is the new smoking. Get a standing desk and roll your shoulders back when working on your computer.

Visualization

Envision three of your favorite people on the planet or in your past. See them outside an imaginary circle. See them putting in words of affirmation, thoughts of light, thoughts of love and thoughts of healing in this circle. Feel it in every cell of your body. Step into the confidence bubble and let it into every cell of your body. You can do this anywhere. I do this before going on stage to speak in front of thousands of people.

Morning Ritual

If you don’t have a morning ritual, I encourage you to create one. Start with something that inspires you, educates you, empowers you, uplifts you and gets your body moving. If you do these things every morning, your energy is going to be here, your confidence is going to be up and you will feel like you are moving forward.

Mirror Work

Mirror work is simple. Just look into the mirror and tell yourself how much you love you. Even if you have nobody in your life right now to tell you this, you can tell yourself that you love you. It may be hard for you. You may even break down in tears. It’s super powerful.

Love yourself, my friend. When you can really acknowledge that you are good enough and you can tell yourself that you love you, it changes your neurons, your face, your body and your cells. It makes you more open and your confidence will naturally rise.

Sticky Notes

Even if you don’t feel confident at the moment, with the sticky notes you can remind yourself that you already are what you are writing or is on the note. Your subconscious will take this in. You will realize it in the moment that you already are confident. Maybe you are the most confident person you know in this moment.

Maybe this is too much of a stretch for you.

Start speaking to yourself as if you are already that and watch how the universe conspires to back you.
