5 steps to TRANSFORM your life and relationships right now – Saturday Strategy

Hi. I’m Shanna. I am human just like you. And just like you, I have a story that has led me to where I am today.

I am on a mission to support you on YOUR journey and inspire you to take committed action toward your personal transformation… and it all begins with taking that first step.

So here’s the short version of my story.

I had been with my husband for 6 years and I noticed that our relationship was plateauing. That’s not to say I wasn’t still in love or that we were having “problems,” but I noticed that it was lacking the excitement, passion and spark it once had. Instead of blaming my husband or other external forces for the current state of my marriage, I turned my focus inward – towards myself.

How was “I” contributing to this relationship? how was “I” showing up in my marriage? what was “I” doing to to fix it?

The short answer: I wasn’t showing up at all.

I was in a toxic work environment, suffering from anxiety and adult onset acne; I was 12 lbs overweight and I was miserable. I somehow had lost all passion for love and for life. This negative energy overflowed over into my personal life and relationships. Instead of allowing my life and marriage to continue in a downward spiral, I decided to take responsibility for my actions and make a commitment to change this pattern.

Can you relate to this? Chances are that YOU CAN or know someone who can (share this with them). And that’s because it’s more common than we like to admit…

The steps I took worked for me and they’ve worked for my clients too. And I believe they can work for YOU. But you’ve got to follow through. You deserve the life of your dreams. And you CAN have it.

Here are 5 steps to TRANSFORM your life and relationships right now:

1. Decide

The first step is to decide to make a positive change in your life. Sounds easy, but in all honesty, it can be really scary. I get it. I was there too. But you know what’s cool? It’s absolutely POSSIBLE.

YOU are the creator of your experience so if it’s not working for you, change it up! Which brings me to #2.

2. Commit

Make a commitment to yourself and your life that you will take the necessary steps to become the best version of yourself. This can be a verbal contract with yourself or you can create a written contract.

Commitment is a big step in the right direction and places you on the trajectory towards what your heart desires. By committing, you are telling yourself “I am worthy” and guess what? YOU ARE!

3. Make a Plan

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.”

Design a plan of action for your transformation. If it is a health transformation, write out all the areas you want to work on, with a goal and what you will do to achieve it.  


Goal: Lose 10 pounds

Action Steps:

  • Move my body a minimum of 3 times per week
  • Cut out sugar from my diet
  • Get to bed by 10pm
  • Speak lovingly towards myself and others
  • Focus on tiny victories and celebrate them!

4. Find Support/Accountability

Find a support system or accountability buddy. This can be a family member, friend, coworker or it can even be yourself! Check in with this person on a weekly basis – share your goals and accomplishments each week.

Sometimes having a person to walk through the process with you isn’t an option. But I want you to remember something – you are NEVER alone. The entire Fitlife team is here to support and guide you through the process. We LOVE celebrating you so don’t be afraid to reach out. We welcome you, with loving hearts and open arms. Truly, we are all in this together.

5. Take Action

DO IT! Many of us set the intention and “commit” to doing something, but we don’t actually DO it.

Figure out what has stood in your way in the past or what might be holding you back now – and release those excuses. You have the power to have, be and do anything you want in life. But it only happens when YOU move forward and follow steps 1-5 outlined here.

So go for it! And watch the beauty unfold.

I know that transformation may seem daunting or unattainable, but I am here to tell you that ANYTHING is possible and if you follow the above steps, you WILL create amazing results in your life. So my friends, go DO IT! TODAY. It all starts with the decision to take the first step.
