Diet sodas also contain dangerous artificial sweeteners. Aspartame, for example, has been linked to 92 adverse health effects. Also relying on the caffeine for your daily energy can backfire and make you extra tired once it has worn off.

Conventional Salad Dressing

Are you eating salads every day, but not losing any weight? Your salad dressing might be sabotaging your efforts. Conventional salad dressings contain chemicals called emulsifiers, which are added to improve texture and prevent separation. Research have found that these chemicals have a negative impact on your gut bacteria and also trigger obesity in animal studies.

So instead of buying salad dressings, learn to make your own! It is a lot easier than you think. With a few simple ingredients like olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and pepper, balsamic vinegar…you can make delicious, clean dressings without any harmful ingredients.
